Dear Devotee Readers, a more than 10 years back my destiny carried me to Canada. The essence and charm of my home country INDIA has still remained unchanged for me. I always miss my childhood days and that part of my life when i was there. Thereby it is my opinion that nothing can be compared to my INDIA and the feel for the same is unique in itself.
Being far away from my mother land, it always make me sad that i am away from Shirdi too. I question Shirdi Sai Babaji, “So many people come to You, then why dont You call me?” These feelings arouse and resulted into a bhajan with lyrics of my longing to go to Shirdi and see my beloved Sai Babaji.
The lyrics go like… “Mere Shirdi Ke Sai Ji Mujh Ko Bhi Bula Lo Shirdi Mein, Baitha Hu Pardes Sai, Mera Dil Hai Teri Shirdi Mein… It will be recorded in my coming Sai Bhajan album soon.”
Every Thursday, Shirdi Sai Babaji is making one of His devotee, a medium to make me sing this particular bhajan. I used to sing it as an order from Babaji, but hopes of my visiting Him in Shirdi did not seem to materialize. So sometimes in frustration i used to say, “Babaji i am not singing this bhajan for You, they are feelings of the devotee of Yours who has demanded it.” The atmosphere of Shirdi has a magical effects. The air, smell and conscious feeling of Sai Babaji’s constant presence always contains a thirst to get more and more. Though Sai Babaji is everywhere, even across seven seas, Shirdi is beyond comparison and it’s feel is beyond my narration in words.
My devotee friends, it is said, “A moment of concentrated prayer from heart is enough to melt and move our Babaji, while hours of shouting are worthless.” My inner soul bore firm faith that Babaji will listen me one day, but sometimes my mind and heart dominated it, thereby creating a chaos and making me restless by only looking into outward happenings. Perhaps, i am happy to share this news with you all that my soul’s faith has been victorious and i will be coming to India in 21st January 2011.
Irrespective of the fact that i do not reside in India, i receive e-mails/calls of devotees from India who wish me to sing glory of Sai Babaji in the form of bhajans. In Canada, i try my utmost best to deliver what has been expected, but when it comes to going to India and performing, my answer was always a “promise”. While my first album SAI TERE HAZAARON NAAM has reached to many aspiring devotees, i am asked frequently, when other bhajans which i normally sing in bhajan sandhyas here, will be recorded and they can listen to them at their wish. Again my answer to such questions is a “promise to be fulfilled when i go to India”. Now that my beloved Sai Babaji has allowed me to step in India, it is the time for me to fulfill all promises. I will be in India till early 14th March, 2011 and would love to sing Sai Babaji’s glory in my home land.
